I am originally from upstate NY (snow! snow! snow!) where much of my family still lives, including my 2 new nieces.  I am fortunate enough to visit them often and enjoy my father's AMAZING home-cooked meals!  I am currently starting my seventh year here in the county and I love the challenges that everyday brings. We work together as friends and we respect each other's unique qualities. 

I graduated this past May with my Masters degree in New Professional Studies (Innovations in Educational Transormation - IET) from George Mason University.  When I am not in the classroom, I love visiting family and friends, getting caught up on Dancing with the Stars and HGTV and enjoying some refreshing ice cream.  I also enjoy going to the movies, swimming, boat rides, exploring new places, listening to country music and attending concerts such as:  Sugarland, Lady Antebellum, Thompson Square, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Rascall Flatts and Martina McBride.  I'm also a big-time golden-retriever lover and hope to have a new puppy soon.

As we work together in our learning community, the boys and girls are trying their personal best to be "quality students" everyday.  We're off to a busy start and I am excited to begin a new year with your children.  I'm also thrilled to see many familiar faces.  Please say hello...my door is always open to you!
